Succeeding the race, the player is called by an unidentified man with an “invitation” to join his group and that he “isn’t taking no for an answer.” The player closes the call without furnishing a response and starts heading to a gathering yet is trapped by a Hummer H2 that smashes his Nissan Skyline GT-R, destroying it. The story starts after the player has beaten Eddie and his road group “The Eastsiders” alongside Melissa in Olympic City and is presently respected as the best road racer in Olympic City.
